It's Ashley Time!!!

Hello everyone! I have come out of hiding. As Pat and Kristie have recently learned, I am real and Scott is not making me up.

In an attempt to graduate college with a semi-decent GPA I have been doing this thing called studying. Since my "work" at work only takes me an hour to do I have had mucho time to study. That being said, I have finished and studied for everything due up until next Wednesday. To make sure things don't solidify in my mind for too long (It's not like I really need to know the things I learn at school)I thought I would write a little message.

As you may have noticed our blog has, once again, been changed. My white flag is waving. I figured I should be a good wife and not make Scott suffer from polka dots any longer. The colors I chose may seem suspicious after last night's events but today my Ute Pride is no less than it has ever been.

While we totally sucked it up last night the overwhelming feeling that this season may be a disaster has not fully hit me, and I don't know if it ever will. For now, I am content knowing that I will be at most football games (stupid work) standing on the second row (yes, second row!) screaming my little guts out for someone to hold on to the ball or wrap up when they tackle (DUH!). Maybe it's because this is my final football season as a student and I will no longer have to stand for every second of the game or because I forked over numerous benjamins to travel with the team to the UNLV and BYU games (I know Provo isn't far but the ticket price makes up for it), but I am not going to be a fair-weather fan (Sorry Ute Basketball. Maybe you can win me back this year). I am going to avoid all thoughts of treason and hopefully the team will make it easier on me. And as I told Scott, there's always gymnastics to look forward to in January!

So for now, Go UTES!!!

  1. Oh how I am loathing Brian Johnson right now... Boo-hoo, my right shoulder is separated! You know what I say, "GET OVER IT!" Also, what's a broken leg?! Come on now... Don't worry, I'll only allow myself to be mad at them for a short 24-hour period.

  2. Looks like BYU will have a good team this year. Go Cougs! :) Scott can forgive me for being a BYU fan while going to the U.
