The Best 365 Days of His Life

On December 29th we celebrated our first anniversary. I was a little under the weather so the festivities were postponed a few days. We were able to spend the weekend in Midway. It was beautiful up there and it snowed a ton. Scott had a lot of fun shoveling two feet of snow off the driveway and I had a good time doing nothing.

At our reception, I placed my piece of wedding cake on a table to talk to someone. When I turned around it was gone. I was looking forward to finally having some, especially because the top tier was made out of my favorite cake- rainbow chip, but I'll let you decide from the picture how that went. At least we learned that frozen cake is not very appetizing nor aesthetically pleasing after a year.


The entire Johnson clan joined us for New Year's Eve. It was fun to have everyone together. We watched a lot of football and played some fun board games. Scott spent most of the time cursing Brad for beating him multiple times at MLB Baseball on the Wii.
