Niagara Falls

Last weekend we decided to check out Niagara Falls. We went to the Canadian side, since it has a better view of the falls.

We waited about 45 minutes to cross the border even though it was around midnight. I hate crossing borders - the way the agents ask questions always makes me nervous and feel like I'm lying even though I'm not.

Hello, Canada!

The next day we went on the Maid of the Mist. It was very misty.

We then walked around the falls.

We heard that they light the falls up around 9, so we took another long walk that night.

One thing we liked about the city is that everything is close and within walking distance. We did not like how cheesy everything is. There are multiple haunted houses, arcades, wax museums, etc.

I think my favorite was Frankenstein eating a whopper.

On the way home we stopped by Cooperstown so Scott could see the Baseball Hall of Fame.

It was a fun & relaxing trip. If you are thinking of going, two days is the perfect amount of time. There really isn't much to do, besides looking at the falls.

  2. The falls look like they're way cool all lit up. And I like your matching ponchos.
