Kingston

Our apartment in Allentown is the first place we've lived that allows pets. My family has a had a few dogs, but I wouldn't say I'm a big animal lover. Scott has always wanted a dog so now seemed like a good time to make his childhood dreams come true.

Meet Kingston, our cute black lab puppy. It really is funny how much personality he has and the silly things he does. I'm also embarassed to say that being responsible for this pup has made me do things involving, well, gross things...I won't go into detail but just know there were a few incidents that were not pretty.

Scott loves to wrestle and cuddle with King

He gives me this face when I'm working and doesn't understand why I can't play with him.

Ignore the mess. His favorite activity is chewing mulch :)

King is now 6 months. He's a big boy, at around 60 lbs, and will probably be 90-100 lbs when he's full grown. He is definitely a gentle giant (he's really afraid of chihuahuas) and loves to cuddle and be involved with everything. He loves attention and is very friendly. He loves playing with all dogs (once he overcomes his fear of the small ones) and goes to doggy play school two times a week so he can burn some energy up. He also has a best friend, Maggie, that is a year-old black lab mix. He knows lots of commands but listens best when treats are involved...smart pup!

(Thanks for the pictures, Amber!)

  1. I have to admit that Kingston is a very cute granddog. I'm glad Scott could fulfull his dreams since his mean mother wouldn't let him have a dog when he was a child :)

  2. I love your little family picture! And the fact that Kingston has friends and has playdates makes me laugh.
