Rowan is one month old!
This month has gone by so fast! Rowan still sleeps most of the day but is definitely more alert. He recognizes mama and spends all day hanging out and snuggling with her.
He's still not sure what to make of this dad fellow, though he likes it when dad makes him a baby ball.
He likes to hang out (i.e. sleep) in his swing.
He loves making silly faces.
He tolerates tummy time (or should I say fist eating/licking time)...
...and story time.
We've been on a few walks but he still isn't quite sure how he feels about the sun.
His favorite activity by far is eating! He's been an excellent eater since he was born. Going hand in hand with eating, he's also a frequent pooper and makes the funniest faces and noises when he's trying to go.
He's a great sleeper (so far) and has been that way since we came home from the hospital. He's worked his way up to sleeping 4-6 hours at night, and then sleeps another 3-4 hours after eating an early morning meal. His dumb little umbilical cord stump has still not fallen off so he's only had sponge baths. He hated them with a passion until I started giving them to him on the bathroom counter with a hot shower running so the room is nice and warm.
And because there aren't enough pictures in this post, a few more of my favorites from the past month:
Height: 21 1/4" (50%)
Weight: 9lb 5oz (50%)
HC: 15" (75%)
