Don't ask about the title. I can explain another time.
Despite my moral opposition to the word "blog", I have decided to hop onto the Radio Flyer bandwagon that is blogging. But if you're reading this, I want you to try something with me now. Say the word "blog" forcefully and suddenly. If others are around, I bet they think you just vomited. Now do it again and draw out the vowel sound. "Blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!" I guess that's why I hate that word. It should be more of an onomatopoeia. So from now on let's just call it a web-based journal of our thoughts (WBJOOT). That's a lot cooler to say. Anyway, Ashley is just shaking her head saying no one will ever come to our blog again. So I guess most of the blogging will fall on my shoulders. (That's really gross when imagined with the previous associations I made with the word blog). I guess it's just as well, since I would have to hold her hair out of the way if she were to blog too often.
(Note: Ashley did not approve of this message.)
Oh Scott, you not only crack yourself up, you crack me up too! Yay! Blaaaaaaaaagh! MOM!!!!! (in a wavery sick voice)
ReplyDeleteWho did make up the word "blog" anyway? If you were wondering, Angie and I are blogging all over ourselves at davisandangie.blogspot.com. Come and joing our blogging fun.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, that last post was by supposed to be by me, your favorite blogging buddy, Davis. Sorry, I never looked at the word "blog" like throwing up. It's so much more fun to say now! BLOG BLOG BLOG!
ReplyDeleteH'lo there, Scott and Ashley! I'm super excited that you have a blog, and I feel privileged to be a link already! Wow!
ReplyDeleteScott-- you know how I heart onomatopoeias. I seem to remember a conversation at that hub of evil, the Death Star of Large Cinco, regarding how there should be a version of onomatopoeias for words that sound like the action they are. You know, like "lunge" and "flail". Good times. And just for fun, remember how Jeremy looked like Yogi Bear with cow lips?
The title-- Winnie the Pooh, sticking his head through the hole that serves as the entrance of Rabbit's home, before eating all of his honey and becoming lodged in said hole.
ReplyDeleteRight?
And "Blog" is an abbreviated form of "Web-log." A log (like unto a journal) on the web. Hence, web-log. Shortened, blog.
ReplyDeleteI think.
Yeah, that's what it is. I read a wikipedia article on them just so I knew what I was getting into. Gotta do your homework on these things.
