It is finals weeks. Most of the people I know are probably well aware of that. So needless to say, things are busy. Just today I was able to dispatch of my class that can best be described as the illegitimate child that would be conceived if biology, chemistry, and physics were to have a "friends with benefits" rendevous that was fraught with bad decisions based on loneliness. Yes, Biophysical Chemistry is just as fun to do as it is to say. And I will never have to do it again. Ever. So for those of you out there who are reading this, perhaps to avoid some studying of your own, know that you have my sympathy. Even those with take-home finals. But a little less sympathy for them. Anyway, good luck.
P.S. Props to the wife for the festive decor and music on the blog. I just pound the keyboard. She makes it beautiful. Probably an allegory for our marriage in some form or another. Or not.
Be careful in thinking that your biophysical chemistry days are over-- not to dampen your day...but I have a lot of friends in med school, and so far it seems that the first year in med school is frought with the stuff...but you are a biochem major, so you should be a step ahead of the bio majors. Sorry if that comment dampened your day- I have just learned being married to a biochem grad student that the greener grass on the other side always seems to have it's own special set of thorns as well...my philosophy: don't start getting happy till its all over!! Ha ha have an awesome Christmas!
