Scott and I decided that February is one of the worst months. Winter is still dragging on while we are begging for spring. I know it is still winter because my little groundhog friend who lives by the freeway entrance ramp has not been seen since Octoberish.
This past week two people I knew from high school (one kind of and one really well) passed away. It was a sad reminder of how short life can be. It was good to talk to people that I haven't seen for a few years, though.
Scott had a test yesterday so he is feeling great. I have officially decided to take the CPA exam and am not looking forward to all of the studying and hoop-jumping required. I'm pretty sure the entire reason I went to college was so I would not have to ever study again. Oh well.
On a brighter note, I thought I would post some pictures from New Year's. Yes, it's been over a month but whatev.
There were so many I wanted to post I thought I would do a slideshow instead of posting a thousand photos. We did lots of fun things like go on a ghost tour, go on a city tour, eat lots of good (but gross to me) food, see el Mississippi River, see some street dancers (I love me some bboys), and see one of the best football games ever!

I guess I don't have to shake my fist, lucky for you. I'm so proud that you tried shrimp, Scott! You know that little line down the middle is feces, right? (Ha ha, Dwight says something like that anyway...) I heart your captions on the pictures, Ash. It looks like you guys had a great time. Good luck on the CPA exam! It'll suck, but you'll rock it.
ReplyDeleteHooray! We're so happy to see another post from you! Mom
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with February being a hard month. Ryan and I are begging for spring too. I am so sorry about your friends. I can not say it enough. Also I wish you all the luck in the world taking the CPA exam.
ReplyDeleteOne of those cemeteries actually looks like one I have seen on TV on one of my Haunted History shows. I think it is where the queen of Voodoo is buried, Her name is Marie, so I hope she didn't follow you home! I would have loved the ghost tour!!
ReplyDeleteAunt Karen G
