V-day

This year we had a very low-key Valentine's day. Rather than going out to dinner, we decided to have a home cooked meal; well, a home cooked meal based off of a restaurant. There is a restaurant in Logan that we love (Hamilton's). They have a delicious chicken cordon bleu with a raspberry sauce that is served with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. So, that is what we had.
I also made apple crisp with home made ice cream for dessert.


I'm pretty sure it was the best Valentine's day dinner ever!

  1. So I feel a bit creepy randomly commenting on your blog...but that food looked delicious. I'm jealous of your cooking abilities. I had to tell someone how good it looked, but there's no one in the room currently, and telling myself just wasn't going to cut it :]
