I really have the best people in my life! I had two baby showers.
The first was from our ward. I've been a primary teacher since we moved in and don't feel like I really know a lot of people so I was surprised at how many people came to the shower or brought me gifts at church. I've had a great time in this ward and am sad that we'll be leaving it in a few months.
My work also threw me a surprise shower! I thought I was taking a shortcut to leave the building for lunch at Chipotle but instead walked in to a conference room full of my coworkers, complete with decorations, lunch, cake, and lots of presents. It was also a lot of fun to see everyone since I work from home now and really only talk to a few people on a consistent basis.

We were all shocked when our VP cut the cake. He was a pro, too.
